Good care takes
good people.

Patient in the difficult moments. Present in the ordinary ones. Bring your care to work supporting young people ages 12–17.

An illustrated conversation, with faces turned toward one another.
Make your work matter.

The work, honestly

Care isn’t one big moment.
It’s how you meet the day.

Be present.

Engage with residents. Support routines, meals, hygiene and transportation. Notice what a young person needs.

Stay steady.

Use trauma-informed emotional and behavioral support, de-escalation and the training appropriate to your role.

Follow the plan.

Implement individualized service plans. Keep clear shift notes and incident reports. Communicate at handoff.

Keep learning.

Take part in team meetings and training. CPR/First Aid and NCI+ training are provided on hire if not already held.
